Shelly FrankEver Sprinkler FK-06X

The Shelly FrankEver Sprinkler FK-06X is an intelligent 6-zone irrigation controller that takes your garden watering to the next level. It allows for precise and independent control of up to six irrigation areas – ideal for lawns, flowerbeds, or greenhouses. Thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity, the controller can be integrated into your home network without an additional hub and conveniently operated via the Shelly Smart Control App. Additionally, the device features Bluetooth for quick setup and as a gateway for Shelly BLU sensors. The integrated weather automation automatically adjusts irrigation schedules based on temperature and precipitation data to prevent overwatering and save water. Manual buttons and LED displays directly on the device allow for quick on-site operation if needed – even without the internet. Extensive schedules and automations can be set up individually for each zone, including sequences that run in succession. The 24 V AC outputs are compatible with common solenoid valves and offer versatile applications, from garden irrigation to controlling underfloor heating valves. Even without using the cloud, the system can be fully controlled offline via the local web interface and seamlessly integrated into smart home platforms like Home Assistant. Overall, the Shelly FrankEver Sprinkler FK-06X provides a reliable, versatile, and smart solution to efficiently automate irrigation systems.

Warning: It cannot be ruled out that during irrigation the valve or the hose may become defective. We do not cover any costs incurred from water damage.

Features:

• 6-zone control: Allows independent irrigation of up to six zones, with each zone being individually named, scheduled, and customized.
• 24 V AC valve outputs: Six outputs (including a common COM terminal) for controlling standard solenoid valves in irrigation systems or e.g., 24 V valves of an underfloor heating system.
• Standalone operation: Integrated buttons and LED indicators on the device allow manual starts/stops and show the status of each zone at a glance – even without an app or internet.
• Cloud management: Full support of the Shelly Smart Control App and web platform enables remote access, monitoring, and control of all zones from anywhere via smartphone or computer.
• Weather-based automation: Uses historical weather data (temperature and precipitation of the last 24 hours) to automatically adjust irrigation cycles and prevent overwatering.
• Advanced scheduling: Offers flexible schedules, sequential switching of multiple zones one after the other, and versatile automation rules for optimized irrigation strategies.
• No hub required: Connects directly via Wi-Fi to your network – an additional hub or bridge is not necessary as the device communicates independently.
• Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connectivity: Supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) for wireless control and also acts as a Bluetooth gateway for Shelly BLU sensors; the Bluetooth function further facilitates initial installation.
• Range extender: The controller also serves as a Wi-Fi range extension (range extender), thereby improving connectivity in remote garden areas.
• Local web interface: Via an integrated web server, all functions can also be directly controlled and configured in the local network without an internet connection (ideal for offline operation and LAN/MQTT integration).
• Broad smart home compatibility: Can be integrated into common smart home systems – supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Homey, and direct integration into Home Assistant via MQTT or Shelly API.
• Robust design: Weatherproof housing (protection class IP55) for use outdoors or in damp rooms, with high-quality workmanship for long-term operation.
• Shelly ecosystem functions: Masters all standard functions of the Shelly platform, such as timers, schedules, webhooks, and scenes, allowing the sprinkler to work seamlessly with other Shelly devices.

Application examples:

• Automatic garden irrigation, where six areas (lawns, flowerbeds, hedges, etc.) are reliably watered according to individually set schedules.
• Weather-dependent lawn irrigation that automatically pauses during rain and extends the watering duration during heat periods to ensure optimal moisture.
• Precise drip irrigation in greenhouses or vegetable beds, controlled by the Shelly Sprinkler and optionally networked with soil moisture sensors via Home Assistant for demand-driven watering.
• Remote control of irrigation in weekend houses or holiday resorts: via the Shelly app, irrigation can be started, stopped, or adjusted remotely to care for plants even in your absence.
• Control of an underfloor heating system in up to six zones (e.g., with Danfoss 24 V valve actuators): The controller switches the heating circuits on and off on schedule, enabling smart underfloor heating regulation.
